This Award is for those who wish to drive powerboats in sheltered coastal waters. (This certificate is often a pre-requisite for small boat hire in the EU). This is a fantastic hands on course which teaches participants excellent boat handling skills. No experience is necessary. This is a Royal Yacht Association internationally recognised qualification.

Meet at Dundee Sailing Club, Ogilvie Road, Grassy Beach, Broughty Ferry, Dundee DD5 1LU for 9am. All equipment will be provided but candidates may use their own equipment. Candidates should bring along swim wear, a towel and a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Candidates wishing to use Ancrum watersport equipment / clothing must attend Ancrum Centre prior to the course to be sized up for kit.
