Cycle Adventure Led Ride - Age 10-14yrs
Schools are out, lets get on our bikes! Ancrum's Active Travel Team are delighted to offer a completely FREE cycle adventure ride within Dundee's green circular cycle route. Our adventure cycle will start at Bridgeview Station Restaurant where our highly qualified cycling instructors will meet, greet and get you kitted up with our fleet bikes and helmets then head off to explore the area, stopping to check out the landscape and things of interest. We will then have lunch, play some fun games and cycle back to the start point at Bridgeview Station. We only have 12 spaces which will be available on first come first serve basis.
Meet at Bridgeview Station Restaurant, DD1 4DB at 9.30am - Ride from Bridgeview to Broughty Ferry/Monifieth
Due to a few 'no shows' previously, if you book a space and your child is unable to attend, please let Ancrum know ASAP on 01382 435911, so that someone on the waiting list can be offered the space, thanks
MUST BE ABLE TO RIDE A BIKE
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for weather and avoid wearing jeans. Bring a packed lunch with plenty to drink in a rucksack. (We shall have spare daysacks for anyone who does not have a rucksack if you need one on the day) You will get an opportunity to purchase ice cream, juice etc during lunch in the Ferry, so feel free to bring some money if you wish to do so.
Bike and helmet provided, and daysack if required.
How to Book - To book a FREE space online, click on Book Now. If your child has an account with Leisure & Culture, log in with their details. Make sure Ancrum is showing in 'Where' box. Start typing an activity or click on drop-down arrow and select which Activity/Course you wish to book. Click Search- Activity or Course will appear on right of screen showing availability. Click Book Now, Add to basket, Go to basket and make payment. If you don't have an account, just follow above instructions without the log-in requirement instructions but before it allows you to check out, you MUST enter your CHILD's personal details and parent's email address as they are participant, NOT the parent/guardian's details! Alternatively you can drop into the centre during office hours Mon-Thu 9-4, Fri 9-1.30, or request a registration form via email ancrum.centre@leisureandculturedundee.com
