Rock Climb/Abseil Adventure Day (Age 8-11yrs)
Rock climbing and abseiling are exciting, confidence building adventure activities. You will learn climbing skills and scale/climb an outdoor crag/cliff and abseil back down. This activity requires a sense of adventure and a head for heights! Both use specialised harnesses, helmets and safety ropes to ensure you remain safe under the supervision of our qualified instructors.
Meet at Ancrum 9am for registration - PICK UP from Ancrum 4.30pm
All safety equipment will be provided. Wear comfortable layered clothing, no jeans. Please bring a packed lunch with plenty to drink. (OPTIONAL-money for an ice cream if opportunity arises)
How to Book - To book a space for your CHILD online, click on Book Now. If your child has an account with Leisure & Culture, log in with their details, not the parent's account details. Make sure Ancrum is showing in 'Where' box. Start typing an activity or click on drop-down arrow and select which Activity/Course you wish to book. Click Search and Activity or Course will appear on right of screen showing availability. Click Book Now, Add to basket, Go to basket and make payment. If you don't have an account, just follow above instructions without the log-in requirement, but before it allows you to check out, you will need to create quick account in child's name (participant) and their DOB (under Member's Personal Details of primary member), and parent/guardian's email address, NOT the parent/guardian's details!
